All of the targets we produce are through hardened, true AR500. We offer our targets in primarily three thicknesses; 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2”.
Unlike other companies’ targets, our targets are not cut using heat. Typically to cut steel this hard a plasma or laser device is used. However, plasma and laser cutting can create a massive amount of heat which can change the properties of the metal adjacent to the cut. This change in the metal can cause the targets to chip easier and even crack. We, however, use waterjets to cut our targets. Waterjetting creates a very smooth, precise cut without the metal altering heat that can be created by other cutting methods.
We are always happy to provide custom targets and will work quickly to engineer and provide custom targets and mounting solutions. Most custom targets can be designed, drawn, cut, painted and shipped in under 2 weeks.
All of our AR500 steel and targets are proudly made in the USA.
